Baby African Grey Congo Parrot is a captivating and intelligent bird, known for its remarkable mimicry skills and gentle nature. As a popular pet, it’s essential to understand their unique needs and characteristics.
Selling 3 AGC’s to a home where they can be out and play. We have added 2 dogs to our home over the past year and they just won’t get along with the Grey’s. As a result, they are staying the cage most of the time and have been chewing feathers and not letting them grow back in much. With proper out of cage time and feather care, we think they would be happier. Plus we are about to move to a colder climate in the next 45 days. They are male and female, not from the same parents – the female is about 1 months older than the male and she just turned 4.
The pair come with a large 64×32 double cage. It has a divider but we took it out so they can interact. The cage is brand new, we just got it for them about 4 months ago. There is also a brand new play stand gym that can go with them if buyer wants at no additional cost. Any extras we have for them will be given to the buyer if they so choose. We are asking $1000 for each baby African Grey for sale. We are firm on the price – we prefer them to have a better home but I will not sell these 2 to someone who just wants to turn around and resell for a quick dollar. They are companions not items. We love them and want what is best for them, even if that means staying with us in a colder climate until I can work out the dogs issue and invest in a better environment.
When choosing an African Grey Congo, it’s important to consider the sex of the bird. Males are typically more aggressive than females, so if you’re looking for a more docile pet, then a female is the way to go. However, males tend to be better talkers than females, so if you’re looking for a bird that will keep you entertained, then a male may be the better choice for you.
African Grey Congos are social birds, so it’s important to provide them with a large cage where they can fly around and play. The cage should also be equipped with plenty of toys and perches to keep them occupied. African Grey Congos are also known for being messy eaters, so it’s important to clean their cage regularly.
